About the project

There are total 56 sectors that are covered inside Chandigarh boundary, inclusive of 13 villages: Manimajra, Mauli Jagran, Makhan Majra, Halo Majra, Dhanas, Maloya etc. The proposal of garbage transfer station before dumping the end waste into existing JAYPEE Plant, adjoining Daddu Majra Dumping Ground Site Includes the proposal of three transfer stations cum material recovery facilities strategically located to cover the whole city of Chandigarh. These three stations are proposed as:

• MRF-cum GTS-II @ Public Health Store, Industrial Area, Phase 1
• MRF-cum GTS-III @ 3BRD STP area, Industrial Area Phase 2

• Automatic Boom Barrier 2 Nos.
• Automatic Truck Tyre Wash System 1 Nos. (at MRF cum GTS –Zone I and Manual system at MRF cum GTS – Zone II & MRF cum GTS – Zone III)
• Parking as per specifications & drawings
• CCTV with SCADA System as per specifications
• Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing Works as per specification
• Pre-cast compound wall as per specifications & drawings
